History

1961 – Start of construction of the Bukhtarma plant’s first production line, production capacity 200 thousand tons per year.

1964 – Output of the first ton of Portland cement at Bukhtarma plnat

1969 – Commissioning of the Bukhtarma plant’s second production line.

1972 – Achievement of the full planned production capacity of the plant’s first and second production lines, commencement of self-stressing cement production.

1981-1989 – Technical modernization. Rotary calciner diameters were increased from 3 m to 4 m, and from 2.2 m to 2.6 m for cement mills. Actual capacity of the plant was achieved up to 1,600 thousand tons per year.

1998 – Commencement of rehabilitation of the Bukhtarma plant’s first production line.

1999 – Major overhaul and commissioning of the Bukhtarma plant’s third production line.

2005 –Bukhtarma Cement Company joins the HeidelbergCement Group.

2006 – Restoration and commissioning of the fourth production line. 

2009-2013 - implementation of the program of technical modernization, implementation of environmental programs to reduce the emission,  introduction of European standards at Bukhtarma plant.

2014 - Commissioning and putting into operation the new CaspiCement plant.
