Bukhtarma Cement Company has been recognized as a leader according to the National Business Rating's assessment following the results of 2013-2014

Bukhtarma Cement Company LLP became a winner of the prestigious contest held by the organising committee of the National Business Rating. According to the results of the National Business Rating’s statistical ranking based on the data on payment of taxes and other mandatory payments to the national budget, BCC LLP ranked first in the Gold of Branch nomination among the cement manufacturing enterprises in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

HeidelbergCement was awarded “Best Foreign Investor" in Kazakhstan for the second time

An awards ceremony for foreign investors in Kazakhstan was held for the second time in December 2014 in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. Eight companies that contributed remarkably to the economy of Kazakhstan and the development of high-tech industries were awarded the title “Best Foreign Investor". Among them was HeidelbergCement, which received the award for the second time in a row.

HeidelbergCement takes part in the project of implementation of the Dual system of professional education in Kazakhstan

Due to running state program of industry development in Kazakhstan, there is high demand for skilled workers, particularly in the oil and gas industry, construction, engineering and services. The Kazakh government plans to reform the professional education system and establish the dual system of professional education on the German model, in which the plants take over part of the practical training. HeidelbergCement in Kazakhstan with its Bukhtarma plant takes part in this project.
